Recorded and originally issued on his 1958 LP “Rock ‘N’ Roll,” this became Frankie’s last charted single and was the third of five versions of the Robert Byrd (Bobby Day) song to reach the national pop charts: Bobby Day & Thurston Harris (1957), Clyde McPhatter (1962), and Jackson 5 (1972).
