The well-known Nashville session guitarist had recently stumbled across the apparently faulty, but delightfully effective, “fuzz” distortion effect with his solo work on Marty Robbins’ hit “Don’t Worry.” Taking advantage of the ‘fuzz’ buzz while Marty was still on the charts, Grady got together with his studio cohorts to create this moody, same-key, similar-tempo production, complete with strings and the Anita Kerr vocal backing.
