Bad Romance, by Lady Gaga, but medieval/fantasy inspired.

Ye have all been exceedingly lovely, a thousand thanks for the support and kind words! I am still new to this, but wanted to actually create my own instrumental this time, so on this track you'll hear a Celtic harp and several wooden recorders I played.

Also, I received some wonderful suggestions for the name of this strange genre. Obviously there is plenty of wonderful authentic medieval music out there, but there also seems to be a ravenous demand for "old timey" covers of modern songs. So far the contenders are: Tavernwave and Bardcore. I love both, and I'd also love to hear your suggestions in the comments.

The image is a combination of two pages from the Romance of Alexander in French verse, with illuminations by the Flemish illuminator Jehan de Grise & his workshop, 1338-44

PS: (For those of you scholarly folk asking, yes "thee and me" is technically incorrect, which is a nod to the original lyrics by the Lady Gaga)
