(music @ 2:30) The ETSU Bluegrass Pride Band is scheduled to return to Kingsport on 19 January 2018 for the inaugural ACMA Pickin' Porch Stage I performance at The Renaissance Arts Theater (sharing the bill with Presley Barker And Shadow Grass).
The last time Dan Boner presided at Bluegrass On Broad was in August 2013. The last "ETSU Pride Week" concert prior to this 18 August 2017 show was in 2014 but that concert was presided over by John Goad as Dan was at a family wedding in NJ.

This 18 August 2017 concert is the first public performance of the new 2017-2018 (academic year) ETSU Bluegrass Pride Band at the traditional opening venue for ETSU Autumn Semester- the Bluegrass On Broad free evening concert in Kingsport, Tennessee. This is always the last Bluegrass On Broad concert of the season just prior to Labor Day.
