This beautiful song was sung by Aarti Mukherjee. The composition is a work by Gulzar and R D Burman, who were one of the most celebrated lyricist-producer duo Indian music has seen. In an attempt to revive the gems they have created, I tried to cover one of my favorite songs, Do naina Aur ek Kahani, a soulful song from the movie - Masoom. Masoom is a masterpiece by Shekhar Kapur who has other much critically acclaimed and controversial movies like Mr. India and Bandit Queen in his kitty.
