Description

Inspired by classical silk-and-bamboo music of South China, Huang Yijun, the first Chinese conductor who also composed music for bands and films in the early 20th century, created this cheerful piece for a traditional Chinese music band in Shanghai in 1935.

Twenty-one years later, Peng Xiuwen, chief conductor with the Beijing-based Central Broadcasting Traditional Instruments Orchestra, turned the music into a popular orchestral work. #ChinaNationalDay

民乐合奏《#花好月圆》

《花好月圆》是黄贻钧为百代唱片制作的一张民乐唱片所作的一首民乐合奏曲目。因为当时写作时没有标题，国乐队的陈中根据乐曲欢快热烈的气氛，为它起了《花好月圆》的名字。新中国成立后不久，指挥家彭修文就把江南丝竹式的《花好月圆》改编为民族管弦乐，影响甚广。
