Hunter Rose began pursuing her passion for music at a very young age through showcases and Theatre. During her time studying Journalism, The Zimbabwean born songkstress found herself gigging in and around Cape Town at events, lounges and recording at local studios, which marked the beginning of her career as a soul, jazz and R&B artist. Since then, the Artscape, UCT music theatre, Red bull studios, The AFDA Theatre, SAE, the Baxter Theatre, As well as Hunters Extreme: Start something, Sizzled and various venues in Europe are some of the places and events she has performed and recorded at, sharing the stage and studio with some of Cape Town and Europe’s finest. She has worked with a number of talented artists such as, Swiss producer Maloon theBoom, the Boyoom connective, Unda da sa sango, German Producer Meek, ECHLN, Psychedelic AK, AliThatDude, the Rude World Records team as well as Oh Gooch, just to name a few. She released her debut single titled "GROWN" in September 2017 and her follow up single ‘SAME ENERGY” in March 2018. Both singles have been doing their rounds on the Internet with some great reviews. Her Next Single titled ‘HOT” Is set to be released in early March this year. Her debut EP is set to be an eclectic mixture of Soul, acoustic, bossa nova, alternative R&B and Warm toasty melodies and is scheduled to be released in the autumn of 2019.
