Description
Step into the dim light of a decaying jazz club on a planet battling the forces of chaos.
A beautiful Nurgle cultist takes the stage, singing not of damnation… but of love, rot, and inevitability.
This haunting jazz ballad weaves seduction, corruption, and devotion into one velvety smooth package.
She doesn’t want your soul. She wants your trust. Your love. Your decay.
"Cursed Sounds from the Warp" is a collaborative project between myself and my friends to utilize "Abominable Intelligence" to develop funny/cursed concepts utilizing the Warhammer 40k lore. The song concepts are based on word play or exaggeration of faction traits to put together comedic and catchy songs of various styles.

[Lyrics]
[Verse 1]
So young, so bright, so full of fight,
Still chasing glory through the night.
But they won’t save you, they won’t look back—
You're just a number in a dying pack.
They taught you how to die, not live.
To break, obey, and never give.
They shaped your hands to serve and kill,
But I can feel the softness still.
[Verse 2]
You tremble like the war’s not won,
But love… it doesn’t need a gun.
You think you’re strong for standing tall—
But I’m the one who’ll catch your fall.
The Imperium, it needs your youth,
But never dares to tell the truth.
You serve, you burn, and then you're forgotten—
But I’ll remember you, even when you're rotten.
[Chorus]
Let us rot together, soft and slow,
Where time forgets the need to go.
No lash, no law, no march, no chain—
Just moss and kisses in the rain.
You fear the end, but once it's near…
The ticking fades, the skies grow clear.
And when the clocks all stop forever—
We'll rot in peace,
But rot together.
[Verse 3]
They said your life was not your own,
That pain’s the path to gilded thrones.
But what’s devotion without love?
A hollow shrine to the stars above.
Nurgle… He remembers names.
He sees your scars, He knows your shames.
He waits with arms so wide, so warm—
No fear, no death, no need for form.
[Bridge]
Time moves slower when you’re free…
When you stop trying to flee.
When you don’t fear what’s next to come—
The seconds stretch, the war grows numb.
No more orders. No regret.
Just quiet rot… and love unmet.
[Final Chorus]
Let us rot together, young and kind,
And leave that broken world behind.
You’ll see when fear begins to fade…
How long the dusk, how soft the shade.
Don’t waste your youth on men who lie—
Come bloom with me before you die.
Let scars and spores become our tether…
And we will rot,
But rot
together.
