記得小時候，我們家鄉還沒有電
那時人和人之間是非常親的
一到過節或是有親戚來家裏做客
全家人就圍坐在一起喝酒、唱歌
唱的都是發自內心的歌

以前的藏人大多生活在大自然裡
面對著大山和牛羊，心也是敞開的
唱歌是一種心的自然流露
歌裡總是赞美上師三宝、赞美大自然
情歌裡也沒有太多個人的哀怨情緒
都是對戀人虔誠的祝福
充滿了深刻的哲理

Affectionate Love is a song adapted from a traditional Tibetan ballad
I remember when I was little, there was no electricity in my hometown
We lived in a closely-knit community
During holidays or when relatives came visit
We would sit together, drink
and sing our hearts out

Most Tibetans used to live in nature
Surrounded by mountains, cattle and goats
Their hearts were open
And naturally they sang from the heart
Praising their masters, the Three Jewels, and nature
Even love songs were rarely sentimental
But deeply philosophical
filled with pious wishes for the lover
