Storyline: On May 6, 2023 I lost my best friend Austin Wenger. It’s still hard for me to comprehend that this is real. I wake up everyday and think, “lemme see what Austin’s doin today” and then I’m heartbroken again. Fate had us meet many years ago. We became best friends and practically spent everyday from there on with each other learning, teaching, building our Handyman company, writing songs, and chasin down the music dream together. We helped instill confidence in one another which proved to make happiness and success. Anyone who knew Austin loved him more than words can even say. - On the day he Passed- It was a beautiful Saturday. Calm and we talked nothing about work. We both woke up late, texted each other to ride or write? We moved slow and trailed across TN backroads on the bikes admiring the beauty of the land and homes we wanted to own. That afternoon we met the ladies and enjoyed the best Mexican dinner. My wife Ciara and I headed towards nashville for a dance class and he headed home on his bike with his wife Sarah in her truck behind him. I’ll never forget the cries of pain and suffering when she called us 7 mins later with “come fast, please help, Austin wrecked”. When we got to the scene, it was absolute agony. He had just turned on our road about a mile from the house and was gaining speed in his lane, then a car from the on coming lane randomly cut directly in front of him to turn into a driveway. He skid and braced for impact but it happened too fast. One thing I know for sure is that he felt no pain and went out with a “full send” doing one of the things he loved most. I hate that he only got to see 30 yrs old, we'll carry your soul and memory with us til the end of our days brother. As Austin would say in his country boy slang “We’ll see ya” or “we gone see ya”. Love and miss you brotha! "I hope you're waitin on me" ❤️
