O Primeiro RAP gravado!
Nos anos 80 um estilo musical popularizou-se ao redor do mundo. Essa forma peculiar de cantar, uma fala ritmada e com rimas, ficou conhecida como RAP, sigla de Rhythm and Poetry (Ritmo e Poesia). Mas, na verdade, o RAP é bem mais mais antigo. O primeiro registro de RAP que se tem noticia foi gravado em vinil em 1968. Pigmeat Markham, veterano artista de valdeville e ex-integrante do grupo da dama do blues Bessie Smith, compôs e gravou em vinil uma música chamada "Here Comes The Judge". Essa música nada mais é que um RAP com um arranjo extremamente funky para a época.
