Having delighted many U.S. record buyers in 1952 with his top-10 pop & C&W deconstruction of “Indian Love Call” from the vintage musical “Rose-Marie,” Whitman eventually released this title song. At least three different takes from that session have been issued over the years, but this posted track is the one heard on the single 45 & 78 in both the U.S. and England.
