ABOUT THIS RECORDING

For those not in the know, back in 2019 I decided that I would attempt to remaster my audiobook of The Hobbit, only this time around I decided that I would try to be true to the text and sing where Tolkien says they sing. To be fair, I had gotten used to singing in my Lord of the rings reading, and I often thought that with my new found confidence I should really do the same for the Hobbit. And so, I completely re-recorded the first chapter with two new musical tracks and then set about recording songs where Tolkien wished them to be.

Unfortunately however, I soon discovered that my efforts were not welcome and my readings were promptly removed along with my channel. Ho hum!

So there it is. These out of context tunes are all that I am able to share, and I place them here for your amusement.
