The first music I heard in my life was Jan Garber's Orchestra. Before I even was in school I remember after dinner my mother and father would go in the living room turn on the record player and dance to the music of Jan Garber and his Orchestra. His was their favorite orchestra because on their wedding night they went to a dance where Jan Garber and his Orchestra were playing. Recently I found a box in the garage with all my parents lp's and most were Jan Garber.
