I learned earlier this year that some of the students and staff at a non-profit NGO music school named Kronendal Music Academy in South Africa had been following my music, and after a brief look into who they are and what they do it truly touched my heart.

"KMA provides children with safe transport, a nourishing meal and caring adult supervision while they are introduced to the magical world of music. Mastering a musical instrument is stimulating and learning to love music is healing for these children who come from, and live in, abject poverty and trauma."

What a beautiful initiative. They also provide them with free musical instruments, food security for their families, school homework assistance, eye tests, glasses and psychosocial support, all within an environment and program which provides them a safe and constructive alternative to the streets.
