Learn how to play the Irish fiddle tune Swallowtail Jig on violin with this play along showing sheet music and tab (ish). It's in dorian mode in case you want to know, but relevantly what that means is it sounds cool and doesn't use any low 2s or 1s. Also it's really darn fun.
The tune is thought to come from the mid 19th century, and apparently gets used for Northumbrian sword dancing. Seeing that is now on my bucket list.
Disclaimer: I'm classically trained, so while I like dipping my toe into fiddle music I am fully aware that my playing has strongly classical tendencies!
Please enjoy, and if you have any song requests leave them in the comments!
